Couples Shower

So Jess and Janet threw a couples shower for Kari, the guys and me. It was quite a success. Everyone said how it was the best baby shower they had been too. We didn't do a lot of cheesy stuff, just mingled and had a couple of fun games.

Surprise Baby Shower

The ladies from my summer bible study threw me a beautiful surprsie baby shower on our last class night. It was the sweetest thing. They had gifts, punch, balloons, a chocolate fountain and the best cake I have ever had!! One lady had small gifts in bags and each one had a letter from God. It was so touching. I can't believe they did all that for me. Even Jake knew about it. I knew he was acting funny, pushing me out the door early for bible study. I feel very blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.

Abigail's Room

Well, I finally got it into gear and fixed up the nursery. The guilt set in when I saw pictures of Kari and Matt's. My mom has done such a great job so far with the bedding. She finished the valance this weekend. It's really coming together. I love to just sit in the rocking chair and look at the pretty room.
